Cyberblast came out for the Amiga in 1992 from Innerprise Software. It was one of those action games that felt right at home on the platform, with colorful graphics and a straightforward premise that didn't try to overcomplicate things. You could pick it up and understand the goal almost immediately, which was nice in an era full of ambitious but sometimes confusing titles.

You control one of two characters, each with unique abilities, through 64 levels of maze-like stages. Your main task is to collect five crystals in each stage to unlock the exit while avoiding or defeating various enemies. Managing your energy supply is crucial; it depletes as you move and attack, so you must collect power-ups to stay alive. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty ramps up quickly, demanding careful navigation and quick reflexes. It feels tense and focused, a game that keeps you alert from start to finish.
