Cybernauts came out on the Amiga in 1988 from Kingsoft GmbH. It was one of those games that felt right at home on the platform, a straightforward arcade-style shooter that didn't try to overcomplicate things. In an era full of ambitious, complex titles, it offered a simple, focused experience.

You control a targeting reticle, moving it across the screen to shoot down waves of enemy robots. The main objective is to clear each of the three city levels, Moscow, New York, and San Francisco, by destroying every robot that appears. The gameplay is fast and demanding; you have to be quick and accurate as the enemies pour in from all sides. It feels tense and immediate, a pure test of your reflexes against an endless mechanical onslaught.
