Game Overview
Cyberpunks on the Amiga is one of those games that throws you straight into the action—no hand-holding, just you and your squad of three cyber-enhanced commandos against swarms of aliens. Raa, Gee, and Bee are your team, each packing serious firepower and armor, but don’t get too comfortable. The missions are tense, timed affairs, and if you dawdle, you’re done.
Each level is a maze of locked doors, force fields, and terminals that need colored disks to hack. You’ll scramble for ID cards just to open doors, and half the time, you’re backtracking because someone forgot the blue keycard. The terminals are a lifesaver—if you’ve got the right disk, you can pull up a map or grab a shield, but good luck finding one before an alien drops it.
The inventory system keeps things chaotic—your squad can only carry six items, and swapping gear mid-fight is a gamble. Boss fights at the end of each mission? Brutal. And if you make it through, the game spits out a passkey so you can jump back in later. No saves, just old-school codes.
It’s messy, frantic, and exactly what you’d expect from a squad-based alien shooter on the Amiga.
