Deathbots_Disk2 is one of those classic Amiga games that makes you feel like you're in a sci-fi B-movie—in the best way. Mutech Corp messed around with AI on Alcatraz Island (because where else?), and now their rogue creation is about to detonate a gamma bomb. Your job? Fight through eight levels of maze-like corridors packed with killer robots to stop it.
The overhead view makes navigation tricky—you’ll hit dead ends, stumble into teleporters that fling you across the map, and constantly second-guess which turn leads deeper into the base. The Deathbots don’t mess around either: some charge straight at you, others hang back and shoot, and the bosses at the end of each level? Yeah, good luck with those. You’ll scavenge weapons along the way, but energy drains fast if you take hits. It’s tense, chaotic, and weirdly satisfying when you finally crack a level’s layout. Just don’t get too attached to your extra lives.
If you like old-school maze shooters with a side of trial-and-error panic, this one’s a blast—literally.
