Game Overview

Deflektor is one of those games that looks simple until you actually try it. You’ve got this laser beam bouncing around, and your job is to angle mirrors just right so it hits all the mines before reaching the exit. Sounds straightforward, but those mirrors can rotate in 16 different positions—good luck eyeballing the perfect angle on your first try.

Things get messy fast. Teleports fling your beam across the screen, randomizers send it spinning in unpredictable directions, and those little repair droids? They’ll sneak in and tweak your carefully placed mirrors when you’re not looking. Half the challenge is just keeping up with the chaos. The other half is realizing, too late, that your "perfect" setup just overheated the beam because you missed a hazard.

It’s the kind of puzzle game where you’ll sit back after a level, staring at the screen, wondering how you didn’t see the obvious solution three attempts ago. The Amiga’s crisp graphics make all the reflections and angles satisfying to watch, even when you’re losing. Just don’t be surprised if you start seeing laser paths in your sleep.
