Play Desert Demolition Starring Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote Online
Dash through levels as Road Runner, collect bird seed, and dodge obstacles; switch to Wile E. Coyote to set traps and chase the bird in this 1995 platformer.

Desert Demolition came out for the Sega Genesis in 1995, published by Sega. It was one of those mid-90s platformers that tried to capture the spirit of a cartoon, and it did a decent job of it. The graphics and sound felt right at home on the system, with big sprites and a lot of the visual gags you'd expect from the source material.
You can choose to play as either Road Runner or Wile E. Coyote, each with their own set of stages and objectives. As Road Runner, you dash through side-scrolling levels, grabbing bird seed and avoiding obstacles. As the Coyote, you hunt the bird, often by placing ACME traps that frequently backfire. The game is broken into distinct screens you clear one by one, and there's a lot of collecting items and timing your movements. It moves quickly and can be pretty unforgiving if you mistime a jump. Playing it feels like you're in control of a short, interactive episode of the show.
