Dino Breeder came out for the original Game Boy, though I don't recall who made it. It was one of those oddball games from the handheld's early years, the kind you'd find tucked away in a bargain bin next to more familiar titles.
You control a caretaker who raises dinosaurs from eggs, feeding them and guiding their growth through different environments. The main goal is to breed stronger, rarer species by managing their diet and arranging battles against other creatures. You spend a lot of time scrolling through menus to track stats and watching simple, turn based fights play out on a small screen. The pacing is slow, almost meditative, and mistakes in care can set you back noticeably. It feels like a quiet, slightly lonely experiment in patience.
