Disney's Magical Quest 3 is that classic GBA platformer where Mickey and Donald have to rescue the nephews from Pete—who's somehow gotten his hands on a magic book and decided to be extra annoying with it. You switch between Mickey (who's got that floaty jump) and Donald (who's weirdly good at climbing vines), and each has their own little quirks that change up the levels. The art style holds up surprisingly well for a GBA game—bright colors, those smooth Disney animations—and some of the boss fights actually make you think instead of just button-mashing. I kept getting stuck on the clock tower level because I kept forgetting Donald could wall-jump.

It's not the hardest game ever, but there's something satisfying about how it controls. You can tell it was made by people who understood how platformers should feel. The music’s got that peppy Capcom vibe too—catchy without being repetitive. If you’ve got nostalgia for this era of Disney games, it’s a solid play.
