Game Overview

Dogz on the Game Boy Advance is basically the digital puppy experience you wished for as a kid—just without the chewed-up shoes. You pick your pup from a few scrappy little breeds (the Dalmatian’s my go-to), and suddenly you’re in charge of keeping this pixel ball of energy fed, happy, and out of trouble.

It’s got that classic virtual pet rhythm: play fetch until their energy drops, scold them when they dig up your virtual yard, and try not to laugh when they tilt their head at you like you’ve lost your mind. The controls are dead simple—just button taps—but there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching your dog actually learn tricks over time. Mine still occasionally flops over mid-"roll over," so, uh, results may vary.

If you’ve got nostalgia for Tamagotchi chaos or just want something low-stakes to fiddle with between bus stops, this one’s a cozy time capsule. Just don’t blame me when you catch yourself saying "good boy!" to your GBA screen.
