Play Downforce Online
You’ll spend half the time wrestling your car around tight corners and the other half bouncing off rivals—unlock faster rides, but good luck keeping them on the road.

Downforce on the GBA is basically what happens when you take a racing game, strip out all the polite rules, and crank the speed up to "barely controllable." The first time I played, I smashed into three cars before even hitting the first turn—it's that kind of game.
You've got six cars to start with (and a few sneaky unlockables), each handling differently—some slide like they're on ice, others grip the road just enough to make you overconfident. The tracks twist through cities that look vaguely familiar if you squint, with shortcuts that either save you seconds or send you flying into a wall.
Most of my time went into the Championship mode, trying to claw my way up from last place while AI drivers played bumper cars with me. The Trophy mode's good for quick races when you just want to wreck stuff. It's not polished, but the chaos makes up for it.
If you miss the days of messy, loud arcade racers, this one's got the right kind of dirt under its nails.
