Play Dr. Muto (E)(Eurasia) Online
Transform into different mutants, explore levels, gather resources, and solve puzzles as you help Dr. Muto rebuild his destroyed planet.

Dr. Muto came out on Game Boy Advance in 2003, developed by Midway and published by THQ. It was part of that wave of early 2000s platformers that tried to do something a little different with the formula, standing out with its strange premise and transformation mechanics rather than just running and jumping.
You control Dr. Muto, a mad scientist who accidentally destroys his own planet and has to rebuild it piece by piece. The core of the game is switching between different mutant forms, each with unique abilities: the rat for crawling into tight spaces, the gorilla for breaking down walls and climbing, and others like a fish and a bird for navigating specific areas. You explore interconnected levels, gathering resources and solving environmental puzzles that often require quick form changes. The pace is deliberate, with some backtracking and trial and error, and the difficulty can spike in certain sections. It feels inventive and a little janky, but pulling off a tricky sequence using the right form at the right time is genuinely rewarding.
