Play Drachen Von Laas, Die Online
1991 Amiga action-adventure game. Side-scrolling combat and top-down exploration. Collect weapons and items to defeat enemies and confront the dragon of Laas. Features puzzles and fantasy setting.

I first played Die Drachen Von Laas on the Amiga back in 1991, a game developed by reLINE Software and published by a smaller German studio. It came out during a time when the Amiga was full of ambitious, if sometimes rough, action-adventure titles, and this one fit right in with its mix of exploration and combat. The game didn't make huge waves, but it had a certain charm that stuck with me.
You control a lone hero tasked with defeating the dragon terrorizing the land of Laas. The gameplay shifts between side-scrolling combat sections, where you use a sword or bow against various enemies, and top-down exploration for navigating the world and solving environmental puzzles. You collect keys, weapons, and other items to progress, often backtracking through areas once you have the right tools. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, especially in later stages. Playing it feels like a methodical trek through a dangerous, interconnected world where every screen could hide a new threat or a vital clue.
