Dig through dirt, avoid spikes and enemies, and grab all the treasure before time runs out. Simple, but the levels get deviously clever—like, "why is there suddenly a conveyor belt under this waterfall?" clever.
The first game was fun, but this one tightens everything up. Movement feels less slippery, the puzzles make you think without being frustrating, and the art has this goofy charm where even the rocks look like they’re smiling. It’s the kind of game where you’ll fail a level three times, then suddenly nail it and feel like a genius.
Never got an official English release, which is a shame—but if you’re into retro stuff, it’s worth the hassle of tracking down. Just don’t blame me when you lose an hour to "one more try."
