Dyter-07 throws you straight into the cockpit of a futuristic attack chopper as alien forces wreck Earth. At first, it feels like classic Choplifter—side-scrolling over tropical islands, blasting enemy turrets and transports while trying not to get shredded in six hits. But then things get weird (in a good way).

Your real targets are these massive robots hiding underground, and your helicopter can’t touch them. So you drop a tank. Yeah, you read that right—you land, detach this little Battledroid, and suddenly you’re rolling around in a mini-tank blowing up robot legs. Oh, and half the robots have kidnapped scientists inside them, so rescuing them becomes this weirdly satisfying side hustle. They’ll hook you up with upgrades if you ferry them back to base, like underwater thrusters or better guns for either your chopper or tank.

Once you clear the surface, the game flips on you—now you’re diving into a volcano, scrolling downward like a manic shooter while dodging bullet hell. Your upgrades matter here; without them, the later levels chew you up. It’s janky in that very Amiga way, but switching between two totally different playstyles keeps it interesting. Just don’t get too attached to your chopper—it explodes real easy.
