Ebonstar is this weirdly intense Amiga game where you pilot a little spaceship around a black hole that’s just there, sucking everything toward it. Your goal? Shoot the giant ark ship—but not just anywhere. You’ve gotta hit its gripper arm dead-on horizontally, or your shots just bounce off. Sounds simple until you realize half the screen is trying to knock you into the void.

Enemies don’t kill you—they just punt you backward, which is somehow worse because now you’re flailing against the black hole’s pull. There’s a shield and rockets to help, but good luck timing those right. The real fun comes in multiplayer (up to four players), where you can either race to snipe the ark first or just shove your friends into oblivion. It’s chaotic in the best way.

Honestly, the physics are janky, but that’s part of the charm. You’ll miss the shot, panic, and then somehow pull it off at the last second. Or not. Either way, it’s a blast.
