Game Overview
Ecco: The Tides of Time picks up right where the first game left off—you're still this weirdly powerful dolphin saving the ocean from alien invaders, but now everything's cranked up a notch. The levels feel bigger, the puzzles are trickier, and the soundtrack somehow gets even more haunting. I remember swimming through these massive coral labyrinths, getting totally lost until I figured out how to use those new sonar powers.
It’s still got that same dreamy, slightly eerie vibe—one minute you're breezing through sunlit waves, the next you're in some alien hive full of creepy bio-mechanical stuff. The time travel twist adds some cool moments, like suddenly finding yourself in prehistoric seas dodging giant sharks. Definitely not as forgiving as the first game though—bring patience for the later levels.
If you liked the original’s mix of exploration and weird sci-fi, this one doubles down in the best way.
