Play Elf : The Movie Online
You hop between icebergs dodging polar bears, then sprint through New York traffic collecting sleigh parts—somehow it feels just as ridiculous as the movie. Santa yells at you in a memory minigame while Buddy survives on giant lollipops, because of course he does.

I picked up Elf: The Movie for the Game Boy Advance back in 2004, a time when licensed games were a common sight on the handheld. Developed by Saffire and published by Blast Entertainment, it was one of those many attempts to translate a popular film into a side scrolling adventure. You play as Buddy the Elf, navigating through a series of levels that loosely follow the plot of the film, from the North Pole to the streets of New York.
You control Buddy directly, moving him through platforming stages where you jump across floating ice chunks, avoid traffic, and collect items like snowflakes and candy canes. The main goal is to progress through each stage, often by finding a key or reaching an exit, while also completing simple minigames that break up the action. The mechanics are straightforward; you have a basic jump and can use candy as a projectile weapon against occasional enemies like raccoons or disgruntled elves. The pacing is brisk, though the controls can feel a bit slippery, and some sections demand precise timing. It feels exactly like a mid 2000s licensed platformer, charming in its simplicity but occasionally frustrating in its execution.
