I picked up Entity_Disk1 back in 2002, a point-and-click adventure released for the Amiga by DAS Software. It came out during a time when the platform was well past its commercial peak, but a small, dedicated community was still producing interesting titles. The game puts you in the role of a space investigator sent to explore a derelict spacecraft that has gone completely silent.
You control your character through a dual-screen interface, using action buttons like Look At, Pick Up, Use, Operate, Talk, and Shoot to interact with the environment. Your main goal is to uncover what happened aboard the ship by solving puzzles, collecting key items, and occasionally engaging in defensive combat. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical; you move screen by screen, examining every detail, and the difficulty can spike without much warning. It feels tense and isolating, like you're truly alone with whatever is waiting in the dark.
