You pick any European team (Denmark’s my go-to—underdog energy), and the tournament plays out in that classic early '90s format: two groups of four, semis, then the final. Keyboard or joystick, solo or with a friend—it’s all chaos from there.
The side-scrolling action keeps things simple—no fancy controls, just pass or shoot with a button press. The ball kinda glues to your player’s feet, which helps when you’re frantically mashing buttons to break away. And the ref? Super chill. Slide tackles barely get a whistle unless you absolutely wreck someone. Feels like street football with fewer arguments.
It’s not deep, but there’s something satisfying about the janky physics and how every match turns into a scramble near the goal. Just don’t expect FIFA.
