Ever played one of those old-school Amiga games that makes you question whether the developers were geniuses or just slightly unhinged? Executioner, The_Disk2 is one of those. It’s got this weird, almost surreal vibe—like someone took a dark fantasy comic and turned it into a clunky but weirdly addictive action game.

You control this executioner (obviously) swinging a massive axe through hordes of… whatever those pixelated monstrosities are supposed to be. The controls take a minute to get used to—expect some awkward jumps and delayed swings—but once it clicks, there’s something satisfying about cleaving through enemies in chunky, low-res glory.

Soundtrack’s a banger too, all ominous synths and dungeon-crawler energy. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—this is pure ‘90s trial-and-error gameplay. You’ll die a lot, but somehow, you’ll keep coming back for one more try.
