Game Overview

F1 Circus MD (Japan) is one of those weird little Genesis racers that somehow nails the perfect balance between arcade chaos and tight handling. The first time I booted it up, I wasn’t expecting much—just another forgotten '90s F1 game—but within minutes, I was hooked. The tracks are bright and slightly surreal, like someone took Monaco and cranked up the saturation, and the cars handle like they’re on rails (in a good way).

It’s got that classic SEGA energy—speedy, loud, and unapologetically fun. The music’s pure chiptune adrenaline, and the AI actually puts up a fight without feeling cheap. If you’ve played OutRun or Super Monaco GP and wished they were a little more over-the-top, this is your game. Just don’t blame me when you lose an hour trying to shave half a second off your lap time.
