Play Family Tennis Advance Online
Swinging wild slice shots with three friends on one cartridge—chaotic GBA tennis where the AI destroys you until you learn timing. Weird challenge modes keep it fresh, like playing with a tiny racket or in slow-mo.

Family Tennis Advance came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2005, developed by Arc System Works. It was one of those simple, straightforward sports titles that filled out the library for the handheld, offering a quick and accessible alternative to the more complex simulations available at the time.
You control a tennis player from an overhead view, moving them around the court to hit the ball back and forth. The main goal is to win matches against either the computer or other players by outscoring them. Key mechanics include timing your swings for different shot strengths and aiming your returns to land the ball just out of your opponent's reach. The game can be surprisingly difficult at first, with the AI punishing sloppy returns, but it settles into a steady rhythm once you get a feel for the timing. It feels satisfying to finally nail a well-placed shot after a long rally.
