Play Ferrari Grand Prix Challenge Online
Tear up 20 F1 tracks in a clunky but weirdly authentic '90s cockpit view—either go wild with top teams in Time Attack or sweat through random weather in a slow Grand Prix car.

Ferrari Grand Prix Challenge came out on the Sega Genesis, or Mega Drive, in 1992, developed by System 3. It was one of the Formula One games of that period that tried to capture the feeling of being in the driver's seat, a common but tricky goal for 16-bit racing titles.
You control a single Formula One car from a first-person perspective, racing against computer opponents on officially licensed tracks. The main objective is to win races, either in a full Grand Prix season or in time trial mode. Signature mechanics include managing your car's fuel load and tire wear, which forces strategic pit stops, and dealing with dynamic weather that can suddenly drench the track mid-race. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, and the difficulty is steep, especially when trying to keep the car on the road in the rain. It feels like a constant, tense battle against the track and your own machine's limitations.
