Fiendish Freddy’s Big Top O’ Fun is one of those weird, frantic Amiga games where you’re desperately trying to keep a circus from going under—literally. The bank’s about to seize everything unless you can pull off six insane acts and scrape together $10,000 in one night. And of course, there’s Freddy, the world’s worst clown, sabotaging you at every turn.

You start with High Diving, where Horace spins like a maniac mid-air while you frantically match poses before he splats. Then there’s Juggling—Jeffy Joe on a unicycle catching everything from bowling pins to actual bombs (Freddy’s idea of a joke). The Trapeze act feels like a physics puzzle where one mistimed jump sends Finola plummeting, especially when Freddy buzzes in with helicopter blades to cut the ropes.

• Knife Throw: Blindfolded, strapped to a wheel, and surrounded by balloons. Miss one, and Knancy screams—miss too many, and Freddy chucks smoke bombs to really mess with you.
• Tightrope: Tony wobbles like a drunk, and Freddy’s either blasting him with a cannon or hurling saw blades. Deflecting them with the pole is oddly satisfying.
• Cannonball: Pure chaos. You guess the gunpowder, eyeball the angle, and pray Fernando doesn’t become a human pancake.

It’s ridiculous, unfair, and weirdly addictive—especially with friends, since up to five players can take turns failing spectacularly. Just don’t expect teamwork; everyone’s scrambling for that $10K solo. The whole thing feels like a circus-themed panic attack, and I mean that in the best way.
