Play FIFA 2004 (U)(Rising Sun) Online
Tiny cartridge, big soccer vibes—dribble, pass, and shoot with surprisingly smooth controls on the GBA. Yeah, the rosters are ancient now, but that just makes scoring with young Beckham even sweeter.

Game Overview
FIFA 2004 on the Game Boy Advance is one of those "how did they fit all this in here?" kind of games. The graphics are obviously scaled back from the PS2 version, but the gameplay? Surprisingly smooth. You’ve got all the teams, players, and even a season mode crammed into this tiny cartridge.
What I love is how quick matches feel—no long load times, just pick a team and go. The controls take a minute to get used to (that tiny D-pad isn’t always your friend), but once you adjust, pulling off passes and shots feels satisfying. And yeah, the rosters are hilariously dated now, but that’s half the fun—seeing players who retired a decade ago in their prime.
It’s not perfect—the commentary is basically nonexistent, and the AI can be a little predictable—but for a handheld soccer fix in 2004? This was as good as it got. Still holds up if you’re into retro sports games.
