Final Countdown Disk 2 came out on the Amiga in 1990 from Demonware Softwarehaus GmbH. You play as Laira Tyrik, navigating a space station to stop an asteroid from hitting Earth. Movement involves careful jetpack use to navigate rooms, avoiding droids and environmental traps. You plant mines to clear obstacles or enemies, and you interact with terminals to hack systems and open new paths. Fuel management adds tension; you're always watching your gauge, and the time pressure makes every decision count. It feels like a tense, methodical race against disaster.
