Finding Nemo: The Continuing Adventures came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, developed by Vicarious Visions and published by THQ. It was one of those many licensed platformers that filled the handheld's library, a familiar sight next to cartridges for other movie tie-ins and kid-friendly adventures.

You alternate control between Marlin and Nemo, navigating side-scrolling aquatic levels filled with obstacles and enemies. The main goal is to reunite father and son by progressing through linear stages, each requiring you to avoid hazards like jellyfish and anglerfish, solve simple environmental puzzles, and collect pearls. Marlin handles stiffly, making precise movements a chore, while Nemo is more agile but just as vulnerable. The pacing is slow and deliberate, with difficulty spikes in certain sections, like a frustrating mini-game involving Bruce the shark. Playing it feels like wading through a colorful but shallow reef, pleasant to look at but offering little challenge or depth beyond its basic objectives.
