Remember that scene in Finding Nemo where Marlin panics his way across the ocean? Yeah, you get to relive that—but now you're in control. This GBA game nails the movie's colorful chaos, letting you weave through coral mazes as Nemo or bumble around as Marlin (who, let's be honest, handles like a minivan).
The jellyfish levels still stress me out. You'll dodge anglerfish in dark trenches, ride currents with sea turtles, and of course deal with Dory forgetting basic instructions mid-mission. There's something oddly satisfying about the way the seaweed sways when you brush past it—little details like that make the ocean feel alive.
It's not deep, but for a licensed game, it's way better than it needed to be. My only gripe? Bruce the shark's mini-game is weirdly hard for something meant for kids.
