Game Overview
Fireball on the Amiga is one of those games that looks simple at first—just a paddle and a ball—but then the screen starts filling up with bricks, power-ups, and chaos. The physics feel weirdly satisfying, like the ball has just the right weight to it, and the sound effects are pure 16-bit crunch. I kept getting distracted by the little details, like how the background subtly shifts colors between levels.
It’s the kind of game where you lose track of time because you keep saying, "One more try," right up until the paddle starts moving on its own and you realize you’ve been playing for way too long. The Amiga’s sound chip really shines here—those bleeps and bloops stick in your head.
