Game Overview

Fireball came out in 1994 for the Amiga, a time when the platform was still home to a lot of creative, smaller-scale games. It was developed by Eclipse Software, and it fit right in with the kind of fast, arcade-style experiences that felt right at home on the system.

You control a bouncing ball of fire, guiding it through tight, single-screen mazes filled with enemies and obstacles. The goal is to clear each stage by collecting all the gems while avoiding or destroying anything that gets in your way. You can shoot small fireballs to take out foes, but your movement is constant and bouncy, which makes precise navigation a real challenge. The difficulty ramps up quickly, with later levels demanding quick reflexes and careful planning. It feels frantic and demanding, but also really satisfying when you finally beat a tricky screen.
