You start by picking your squadron—either "Tiger" Cole or "Cool Hands" Grafton—and suddenly you're knee-deep in the Vietnam War, trying not to get shot down by MiGs or shredded by SAMs. The first time I played, I spent way too long fiddling with my plane's loadout, only to realize halfway through the mission that I'd forgotten flares. Big mistake.
What’s cool is you don’t just fly solo—you’re juggling multiple sections of planes, switching between them mid-mission like some kind of overworked air traffic controller. And yeah, carrier landings are as terrifying as they sound. The first time I tried, I bounced off the deck like a rubber ball. Still not sure how real pilots do it.
If you’ve ever wanted to experience the chaos of naval aviation without, you know, actually dying, this is about as close as it gets.
