I remember playing Flintstones on the Amiga back in 1988, published by Elite Systems. It was a time when platformers were everywhere, and this one tried to capture the feel of the cartoon with its colorful, blocky graphics and familiar characters. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it was a solid attempt to bring Bedrock to life on the home computer.

You control Fred Flintstone, swinging your club to smash enemies and break through obstacles as you move screen by screen. The main goal is to rescue Pebbles and Dino, which means navigating through different environments like rocky caves and dense jungles. You ride pterodactyls for vertical sections and drive stone wheeled cars in others, while collecting Bronto Burgers for extra health. The pacing is fairly straightforward, though some jumps require precise timing, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in later stages. It feels like a straightforward, sometimes clunky, but earnest adaptation of the show.
