You control the entire team, managing batting order substitutions and fielding positions between innings. The main goal is to win games by outscoring the computer opponent through a combination of timely hitting and solid defense. Signature mechanics include a timing-based batting system where you press a button as a cursor passes over the ball to make contact, and a fielding system that requires quick manual movement of players to catch fly balls or field grounders. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, especially when trying to judge fly balls on the small screen.
