Freeze is one of those arcade gems that makes you wonder how you never heard of it before. You're sliding around these slick, frozen levels—sometimes literally, because the controls have just enough slippery momentum to keep things tense. The enemies are these weird little snow creatures that pop up out of nowhere, and half the time you're frantically mashing buttons to break free when they freeze you solid.

It's got that classic '80s arcade vibe—simple but punishing, the kind of game where you lose three lives in 30 seconds and immediately slam another quarter into the machine. The music is pure chiptune nostalgia, all bleeps and bloops that somehow make slipping into a bottomless pit slightly less frustrating.
