Play Frisky Tom Online
You're a plumber dodging bomb-tossing mice in a maze of pipes, waving your arms like a madman to stop fuses while purple rodents kamikaze into you. Pure Game Boy chaos.

Frisky Tom came out for the Game Boy in 1981, developed and published by Nichibutsu. It was part of that early wave of handheld games, simple concepts built for quick sessions on a monochrome screen. You don't get a long story or elaborate setup; it's just you and a straightforward task laid out in blocky graphics.
You control Tom, a character who must navigate a single-screen maze of pipes. Your goal is to extinguish all the lit fuses on bombs scattered around the stage before they explode. Mice scurry through the pipes, tossing additional bombs your way to complicate things. The main actions involve moving through the narrow passages, avoiding the mice, and waving your arms over the fuses to put them out. It's a game of constant pressure, where one wrong move can set off a chain reaction of explosions. Playing it feels like trying to stop a dozen small fires with only your hands while being pelted with more kindling.
