Game Overview
Okay, so imagine Frogger—but instead of dodging trucks and snapping turtles, you're hopping through ancient ruins like some kind of amphibian archaeologist. Frogger Kodaibunmei no Nazo (or "Mystery of the Ancient Civilization" if you don’t read Japanese) takes everything you know about the arcade classic and flips it sideways. One minute you're timing jumps across collapsing stone bridges, the next you're solving block puzzles or—no joke—riding a dinosaur through a temple.
The GBA graphics give it this chunky, colorful charm, and the levels get surprisingly clever. You’ll push statues, trigger traps, and even deal with these weird bouncing... things that I still don’t fully understand. It’s got that same "just one more try" energy as the original, but with way more "wait, why is there a T-Rex here?" moments. Never officially released outside Japan, which is a shame—it’s the weirdest, most inventive Frogger game you’ve probably never played.
