Game Overview
Garfield Labyrinth is one of those weirdly endearing Game Boy games that shouldn’t work as well as it does. You basically shuffle Garfield through maze-like levels, pushing blocks, avoiding spiders (why are there always spiders?), and collecting keys like some kind of lasagna-fueled burglar. The controls are a little stiff—he’s a cat, not an athlete—but that just adds to the charm.
What really sells it is the tone. The dialogue bubbles nail Garfield’s deadpan laziness, and the puzzles are just tricky enough to make you pause without wanting to chuck your Game Boy across the room. It’s got that early '90s vibe where games didn’t overexplain things—you either figure out how to trap Odie with a well-placed block or you don’t. And yeah, you’ll absolutely want pasta by level 3.
Perfect for quick play sessions when you want something light but with a little bite. Like Garfield himself, it’s better than it has any right to be.
