You control Goliath, the lead gargoyle, moving through side-scrolling stages to stop the villainous Xanatos. Key mechanics include a screen by screen progression where you often have to clear all foes to advance, and a powerful ground smash that can destroy certain floors and walls. The game moves at a steady pace but can get quite difficult, especially with some tricky platforming and aggressive enemy patterns. It feels satisfying to land those claw attacks and watch Goliath move with a surprising amount of weight and power.
