Genesia_Disk0 is one of those weird, charming Amiga games that feels like it was beamed in from another dimension. You start off controlling this little creature—sort of a cross between a bug and a blob—and the whole thing plays like a mix of puzzle and strategy, but not quite either. The graphics are simple but oddly hypnotic, with these pulsing colors and abstract landscapes.

At first, I had no idea what I was supposed to do—just moving around, bumping into things, watching how the environment reacted. Then it clicks: you’re supposed to manipulate the terrain, absorb certain objects, avoid others. It’s got that old-school trial-and-error vibe where half the fun is figuring out the rules as you go. The music’s got this eerie, synth-heavy loop that sticks in your head way longer than it should.

Definitely not for everyone, but if you like games that make you stop and think, "What the heck am I even looking at?" in the best way possible, this one’s a trip.
