Play Granada (Japan, USA) (v1.1) Online
You pilot a heavily armed tank, spinning your turret to blast enemies from every direction while dodging their fire—simple controls but tricky to master. The stages force you to move constantly, and that spread shot power-up? Total game-changer.

Game Overview
Granada’s one of those old-school top-down shooters where you control this beefy tank—basically a rolling death machine—blasting through waves of enemies across these surprisingly detailed battlefields. It started on the Sharp X68000, but the Genesis port’s the version I’ve sunk hours into. The controls are tight, and once you get the hang of aiming your turret independently from movement, it feels stupidly satisfying.
First few minutes? You’re dodging bullets, figuring out which power-ups are worth grabbing (hint: the spread shot’s your best friend), and realizing this isn’t just another mindless shooter. The stages actually have some strategy to them—enemies come from all angles, and if you don’t keep moving, you’re toast. Music’s got that classic Genesis grit, too. Definitely holds up if you’re into punishing-but-fair arcade-style action.
