Play Greendog – The Beached Surfer Dude! Online
You’re a surfer dodging angry crabs and chucking frisbees at iguanas while cursed Aztec gold turns the whole beach against you. The physics are wonky, but nailing a ricochet shot off a palm tree just feels right.

Greendog: The Beached Surfer Dude! came out for the Sega Genesis in 1992, developed and published by Sega. It was part of that wave of early 90s platformers that tried to stand out with a weird, specific personality rather than just another mascot with an attitude.
You control Greendog, a surfer who gets cursed after finding a piece of Aztec treasure, and your goal is to lift the curse by collecting scattered golden charms across a series of tropical and temple themed levels. The gameplay involves a lot of screen by screen exploration, throwing your frisbee at enemies like crabs and iguanas, and solving simple puzzles, often by bouncing that frisbee off walls or objects to hit out of reach targets. The pacing is generally slow and the platforming can feel a bit stiff, but there's a strange satisfaction in figuring out the angles for a tricky ricochet shot. It feels like a relaxed, slightly clumsy vacation with occasional moments of cleverness.
