Key mechanics include dashing and boosting for quick repositioning, a guard system to block incoming fire, and super moves that require careful timing and meter management. The pacing is deliberate; mistakes are punished, and button mashing gets you wrecked. It feels substantial, like you're really controlling a heavy piece of machinery, not just a sprite on a screen.
