Play Gundam Seed - Battle Assault (U)(Chameleon) Online
Pilot a mobile suit in Gundam Seed - Battle Assault, battling opponents in one-on-one fights while using beams, sabers, and special moves to drain their health.
I picked up Gundam Seed: Battle Assault for the Game Boy Advance back in 2004, a time when portable fighters were either simplified or just didn't feel right. Bandai published it, and it was one of those games that tried to bring a proper mecha brawler to the small screen without losing the weight and impact of the machines. It wasn't trying to reinvent the genre, just deliver a solid Gundam experience you could take anywhere.
You pilot a mobile suit from the Seed universe, engaging in one-on-one battles across various arenas. The main goal is to deplete your opponent's health bar using a mix of beam rifles, physical sabers, and special attacks. Key mechanics include dashing and boosting for quick repositioning, a guard system to block incoming fire, and super moves that require careful timing and meter management. The pacing is deliberate; mistakes are punished, and button mashing gets you wrecked. It feels substantial, like you're really controlling a heavy piece of machinery, not just a sprite on a screen.
