Game Overview

Gunshoot is basically Bank Panic with a cowboy hat—you play as John Brayn, the sheriff tasked with guarding Laramie Bank. Twelve doors line the screen, and bandits (or unlucky civilians) pop out at random. Shoot the outlaws, spare the townsfolk, and try not to flinch when someone suddenly bursts through the center door.

The gold coins are tempting—hit one, and it’s extra points—but half the time they’re being carried by some poor bystander. I learned the hard way that trigger discipline matters. The pacing’s just right: slow enough to plan your shots, but frantic when three bandits rush out at once. Classic Amiga tension.
