You control a full baseball team, managing pitching, batting, and fielding across nine innings. The main objective is to outscore your opponent, either against the computer or a friend. Signature mechanics include a pitching system where you aim and time your throws, a batting cursor that shifts with each pitch, and manual fielding that requires you to run down fly balls and scoop up grounders. The pacing is deliberate, with a difficulty that ramps up noticeably in later innings. It feels responsive and tense, especially when a close game comes down to a final at-bat.
