Game Overview
This Amiga version of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is basically the text adventure that'll make you laugh, then cry, then throw your joystick across the room. You start off as Arthur Dent—yes, in his pajamas—trying to stop your house from being demolished, only to end up on a Vogon ship moments before Earth gets bulldozed for an interstellar bypass. The parser expects very specific phrasing (good luck figuring out "use toothbrush on bulldozer" without the manual), and the puzzles are as absurd as the books. If you've got the patience for old-school adventure games and love Douglas Adams' humor, it's a weirdly satisfying time capsule. Just don't blame me when you're stuck for hours trying to get the Babel fish.
