Hoi_Disk2 is this weirdly charming Amiga platformer where you play as a tiny green dinosaur on a quest to find love—literally. Hoi’s gotta navigate five levels packed with switches, moving platforms, and some surprisingly deep mechanics for what looks like a simple game. At first, it feels like a standard jump-and-run, but then you hit the jet-pack level or the underwater SCUBA section, and suddenly it’s a whole different beast.
The levels are massive and maze-like, with fewer enemies than you’d expect—instead, the real threat is gravity. One wrong jump, and Hoi’s done for. The final level goes full rave mode with intense strobe effects (seriously, the game warns epileptic players to skip it). It’s quirky, a bit janky in that classic Amiga way, but there’s something oddly satisfying about figuring out each level’s rhythm. Just don’t rush—Hoi’s love life depends on patience.
