You control a selection of Hot Wheels cars, racing through themed tracks set in a house. The main goal is to win each cup by finishing first across a series of races. The game uses a top-down perspective, and two of its key mechanics are the turbo boost, which you build up by drifting, and the ability to perform stunts off ramps for extra speed. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty comes from the tight, cluttered tracks filled with obstacles like toy blocks and other racers you can sideswipe. It feels like you're guiding a little metal car through a chaotic, miniature obstacle course.
