Iceball came out in 1988 for the Amiga, developed by Turtle Byte Software. It was one of those early action-puzzlers that felt right at home on the platform, simple in concept but with enough depth to keep you coming back. You control a round, bouncy character through a series of single-screen levels, collecting all the diamonds while avoiding hazards like aliens, bombs, and spikes. The main challenge comes from managing your jumps carefully; you can only bounce so many times before needing to land on a recharge block to restore your air pressure. The pacing is methodical, almost puzzle-like, as you plan each move to avoid getting stuck or falling into a trap. It feels tense and satisfying when you finally clear a tricky room without a mistake.
