Inukko Club is a puzzle game released for the Game Boy Advance in 2000, developed by MTO. It arrived during a period when the GBA library was expanding with many experimental and niche titles, offering something a bit different from the platformers and RPGs that dominated the system.
You control a small dog that can push and pull blocks, stacking them to climb over obstacles or bridge gaps. The main goal is to guide your character to the exit in each stage, but the challenge comes from manipulating these blocks under specific rules; some blocks crumble after use, others are too heavy to move alone, and switches might alter the stage layout. The pacing is deliberate, with later puzzles demanding careful forethought and multiple attempts. It feels satisfying to finally see a solution click into place after several failed tries.
