Game Overview
Inve$t_Disk1 is one of those brutally simple yet weirdly addictive Amiga business sims where you buy companies, sell their products, and try not to get sabotaged by your friends. You start with a modest pile of cash and six industries to dominate—pharmaceuticals feel safe until someone undercuts your prices, and space engineering is high-risk but pays stupidly well if you pull it off.
The real fun kicks in when you hire spies to mess with rival factories or detectives to catch theirs. Nothing beats the petty thrill of watching someone’s auto plant suddenly grind to a halt because your guy slipped past security. Plays best with at least one human opponent—the AI’s decent, but it doesn’t gloat when it ruins your plans.
Fair warning: It’s German-only, but the menus are straightforward once you poke around. You’ll be bankrupting virtual competitors in no time.
