Italia 1990 is one of those early Amiga football games where the simplicity is kind of charming—if you can get past the fact every team inexplicably wears red or yellow kits. You and up to three friends can play, and honestly, that’s where it shines. Matches feel chaotic in the best way, especially when someone accidentally slides into a tackle and gives away a penalty. The overhead view scrolls vertically, so you’re constantly adjusting, and the shorter 5-minute matches turn into frantic goal-fests.
Weirdly, the training mode might be the most memorable part. Sprinting 100 meters or doing digital press-ups between matches feels oddly satisfying, like a weird football-themed mini-game break. Just don’t expect FIFA-level realism—this is pure, janky late-80s football fun.
