Jack Nicklaus handpicked 18 iconic holes from places like Pebble Beach and Augusta, so you’re basically getting a greatest-hits tour of golf history. The 3D graphics were pretty impressive for the time—you can actually see the slopes and hazards instead of just guessing like in some older golf games.

You can play solo or with up to three friends, either going for straight stroke play or a more competitive skins match. The greens feel tricky but fair, and there’s something satisfying about nailing a putt on St. Andrews’ 12th after botching your approach shot. Just don’t blame me when you spend way too long trying to master Riviera’s 10th.
